ABOUT

Sensorium is an international collective composed of Marco Galletti (IT), Madeline Marone (CH & USA), L. Meïko Touraille (FR),  Alina Trionow (DE), with its base in Suisse Romande. Post-Actionist and Surrealist, Sensorium privileges the creation of sensory experiences for their participants and the public: tactile, sonorous, olfactory, and gustatory, they move attention away from purely visual awareness. Sensorium breeds community between all beings, even non-human, and engages in the non-hierarchical treatment of materials, people, and events, allowing for spontaneous Happenings. Sensorium goes beyond spontaneity through carefully planned scores for action, to access altered states of consciousness (ASCs), and to change ways of relating to each other in societies, nations, and within the framework of institutions. Sensorium are initiators of care through boundary crossing, and seekers of radical change, which lead the participants and the public they engage to make conscious, autonomous decisions about how they want to perform and how they want to live.
